Get Those Best Coast Vibes With CB2’s Fred Segal Collab

If California Cool is your go to aesthetic, you’re going to want to head to CB2 right now. The modern retailer just launched a collaboration with Los Angeles based label Fred Segal.

Fred Segal is famously known for their denim, and the signature fabric makes an appearance in the 34 piece collection, most notably on pillows. There are a selection to choose from, featuring embroidery, distressing, and other classic jean treatments.

Expect plenty of laidback 70s surf shack vibes, with vintage shapes, shag rugs, lots of brass, and earthy colors. Some of our favorite pieces add a touch of beachy whimsy, like the brass palm tree lamp and the glass topped coffee table with a pineapple base. Unique storage pieces add wow factor as well, with an acacia wood storage coffee table with tray top surrounded in acrylic, and the dresser sized flat file with shiny brass inlay details.

And when it comes to upholstery, the inspiration continues to draw from the past, with a wood framed lounge chair that has a relaxed, deck chair feel and a simple but statement making backless daybed.

It’s not all furniture, though—the collection also includes brass desk accessories, neon accent lights, and even some fun washi tape.

The collaboration between the brands will be ongoing, and pieces from this first Fred Segal collection are available in stores and online now. Check out a few of our favorite pieces in the gallery below:
