A lot of new buildings try to recreate an industrial loft feel, but this 2-bedroom duplex, one of 14 units in a former milk factory, is the real deal. Located in quiet, but lively Carroll Gardens, this unit is packed with architectural elements like beamed ceilings, exposed brick and a dramatic glass and metal balustrade.

Things We Love About This Property Crush:
If you’re a fan of the Warm Industrial look, you’ll appreciate the exposed brick, beamed ceilings and kid-friendly glass and metal balustrade and walkway.
At nearly 1,100 square feet the apartment is rather spacious while the duplex layout with open staircase and landing adds a sense of airiness.
Floor-to-ceiling windows at the front of the unit let tons of light into the library which filters to the room below through Italian glass blocks in the floor.
The hardwood floors through much of the apartment look like they could use a polish, but they are a nice color and add warmth.
The unit has central air conditioning and a video intercom and the building is wired for Fios.
The F and G trains are about a block away making for an easy commute (the walking-to-the-train part, the MTA — well, that’s another story) and an excellent public school, P.S. 58 is also just another block further.
