This Small Space Dishwasher Takes Up Less Room Than Your Drying Rack

If you’ve ever lived in a small space, you know that the dishwasher is, well, you. Not anymore, thanks to one European importer who wants you to be able to have your minimalist studio and low maintenance clean dishes, too.

Streamline Hoods, which made its debut on the American market in 2013, just unveiled a top-mounted, top-loading sink and dishwasher combo that’s ideal for small spaces — basically taking up the same amount of room as your dish drying rack but by sitting in the second side of a dual-sink design.

As Digital Trends pointed out, “With such an easy setup, you may never leave dirty dishes in the sink again — why would you when your dishwasher is literally in the same place?” But then again, we’ve known people to toss dirty clothes on the floor next to the hamper (you know who you are), so no guarantees.

The full features of the new top-mounted dishwasher sink combination are listed over on trade website Mechanical Hub, including all the functional and DIY installation specs of the top-loading countertop dishwasher — which boasts just as much cleaning power as full-size dishwasher models but requires less water and detergent, and in a shorter cycle time. The brushed stainless steel models, offered in both 220-volt and 110-volt, come with a full accessories package, including draining basket, sealing tape, mounting clips, waste fittings, and an overflow plastic pipe.

No pricing or online ordering options have yet to be announced, but interested consumers can contact the brand directly through StreamlineHoods.com.
