Bed Bath & Beyond sells just about everything you could ever want, and plenty you never knew you needed. And even though deals already abound there (hello, never ending coupons in my mailbox!) I’ve found that there are plenty of ways to save even more money when you’re shopping online or in-store.
From coupons you might not even realize you can use, to a loyalty program that offers major savings, here are all the ways you can save money at Bed Bath & Beyond.
Sign Up for Their Coupons
If you shop at Bed Bath & Beyond and you don’t get their coupons in the mail or via email—sorry… you’re doing it wrong. Modern day Bed Bath & Beyond coupons do expire (though we will all always fondly remember the bygone era when they didn’t), but you should know some stores still honor expired deals anyway. In either case, if you sign up for their list, you’re likely to have more 20-percent-off coupons than you know what to do with—definitely helpful if you’re a frequent (or even semi-frequent) shopper.
Use Manufacturer’s Coupons
Along with their own coupons, Bed Bath & Beyond also accepts manufacturer’s coupons, with some rules attached, of course: They must be used before the expiration date, and can only be used for the exact item stated, one item per coupon. If you don’t typically use manufacturer’s coupons, you can find them online. Per Bed Bath & Beyond rules, you can’t stack coupons, but you can use them in separate transactions if you really want to be thrifty.
Take Advantage of Price Matching
In case you didn’t already know, Bed Bath & Beyond does price matching, so do your research before you check out. They’ll match low prices at other competing retailers—and even Amazon, if the product is fulfilled by Amazon directly and not a third party. You can combine price matching with manufacturer’s coupons, but not with Bed Bath & Beyond coupons—they’ll simply charge you whichever price is lowest.
Keep Your Receipts (for Price Adjustments)
There doesn’t appear to be an official policy about this on their website, but many sites claim that Bed Bath & Beyond does price adjustments if an item goes on sale right after you’ve purchased it, so long as you have your receipt. This seems like it may vary by individual store, so it’s worth asking your local Bed Bath & Beyond what their policy is—if they do price adjustments, it’s definitely worth taking advantage of it.
Beyond+ is a beta program from Bed Bath & Beyond that allows customers to pay $29 for an annual membership. The membership, in turn, gives members 20 percent off their entire purchase for every purchase made throughout the year, along with free standard shipping for every online purchase. If you’re a frequent shopper, the initial $29 investment could ultimately end up saving you quite a bit.
Use Their App
Bed Bath & Beyond offers an app (available on both iOS and Android phones) that, among other helpful features for customers, has an option called My Offers which keeps all of your offers in one place—including email, paper and mobile coupons. You can also access My Offers from the website, but the app makes it easier to access while you’re shopping in-store, meaning you won’t have to worry about forgetting your coupons at home and letting them go to waste.
