Our Affordable Things: Budget-Friendly Alternatives to Oprah’s Favorite Things

This week, Oprah released her annual Favorite Things list, and per usual, many of the items are—shall we say?—aspirationally priced. We already rounded up a few items for the home that were a little on the expensive side, so today, we thought we’d give you some affordable alternatives, as well as a few Official Favorite Things under $50. Check out our picks below.

Try this super pretty option from Herbivore. Still lovely enough to gift, but much nicer on the budget at $18.

Try the same Canvas Home tinware, but perfectly espresso sized. They’re 6 for $28, and even less expensive if you buy more than one set.

Here’s a $54 version, which will save you some cash to buy the booze itself.

Deliver a lovely succulent garden instead (this one is $24.99, but also check out your local nursery or plant shop).

Now, for some official Favorite Things under $50

If you want to look totally adorable opening presents or taking a family photo, these PJs are for you.

Add some style to your Thanksgiving (or daily!) gratitude traditions with this lovely jar ($45).

This house ($48) is for the birds—literally. Give your feathered friends somewhere stylish to nest, just like you do for yourself.

Take your wine (or coffee) on the go with Corksicle’s insulated tumblers ($24.95).

And of course, Oprah’s latest book is well under $50. In it, she distills the wisdom from her Super Soul Sunday conversations to its truest form. Bonus: the audiobook is read by Oprah herself.
