Despite its effect on our sleep, people love a good binge watching sesh. But do you remember your first one? If you don’t, here’s how to find out.
For Valentine’s Day, Netflix is celebrating with some innuendo-laden videos featuring celebs like Jonathan Groff and Jodie Foster, talking about their first time—binge watching, that is.
If your memory is not as good as Orange is the New Black star Dascha Polanco’s (her first was six straight hours of Jessica Jones), there’s a way to find out. Just head to your Netflix account page. Select “Viewing activity” and scroll all the way (way) down.
The streaming service notes that most people start their first binge within 12 days of joining, with the majority of users finishing a season in three days (binge racers, on the other hand, are people who finish a new season of a show within 24 hours of its release).
According to Netflix, these are the shows that users binge first in the US overall:
- Orange Is the New Black
- Breaking Bad
- The Walking Dead
- Stranger Things
- House of Cards
- Sons of Anarchy
- Fuller House
- American Horror Story
- Family Guy
- Grey’s Anatomy
Taking a look at my viewing history, my first binge was Season 1 of Downton Abbey, completed in three days over Christmas 2011.
What’s your first binge? Tell us in the comments.
