Adam Levine Sold His LA Mansion to John Mayer

With celebs often buying one another’s homes, sometimes the world of celebrity real estate can feel like one big episode of Trading Spaces. Such is the case when it comes to the recent sale of Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s home. The Maroon 5 frontman and star of The Voice and his model wife have just sold their sprawling LA ranch — which registers at just over over 7,000 square feet — to fellow musician John Mayer for $13.5 million. That’s right, the couple are not coming home to this five-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate located in Benedict Canyon any longer.

The home, which is laid out across 3.66 acres, has an open floor plan and boasts a kind of rustic mid-century vibe. There are towering exposed beam ceilings and flagstone floors throughout the main living area and kitchen that continue out onto the pool deck through a wall of seamless sliding glass doors. In addition to pool views, the spacious kitchen comes complete with an island large enough to accommodate four, perfect for Sunday morning brunches.

The ranch style estate which was built in 1940 and updated by Levine also comes equipped, according to the Los Angeles Times, with a basketball court, a speakeasy-style card room, and a two-story garage. Levine originally purchased the home back in 2012 for 4.83 million.
