Have you ever thought of using your time off from work for a staycation? This is when you don’t actually go anywhere on vacation, but you instead take time off and enjoy your city/area. Staycations are gaining popularity in recent years. As expected, some cities are much better than others for staycations.

Interestingly enough the #1 city is also a city that sees roughly 68 million tourists every year. Orlando, Florida is the top city for staycations. When you think of all of the recreation and dining opportunities in Orlando, is it really surprising? There’s Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, and so much more. All of these are perfect fun for the family places to visit for the day/week.

The #2 spot on the list is Honolulu, Hawaii. If you lived here, why would you ever leave? The view alone is reason enough to stay put 365 days a year.
