Celestial Decor That Will Make Your Home Feel Out of This World

During my high school years in Ohio, it never truly felt like summer until my friends and I celebrated the season with out first stargazing party. About 20 of us would make the drive from the city to our friend’s house in the country. Out there the houses were separated by large swaths of land and there were few street lights, so the stars shone so bright it almost felt like daytime.

We’d lay out a huge collage of blankets next to the bonfire and just stare at the night sky talking about our futures and eating one too many s’mores. Ever since, I’ve had a soft spot in my heart for anything celestial.

Of course, you don’t need a nostalgic reason to love the moon, sun, and stars, or to decorate your home with them. There’s just something magical about the sky, and luckily for all of us moon babies, there are some seriously stylish celestial items available at our favorite stores.

Add a little celestial flair to an empty wall with this crescent moon-shaped shelf. Filling it with crystals is not required, but would be very on-brand.

Sunburst mirrors may not be as trendy as they were a few years ago, but they still make a stylish statement.

My goodness I love a good galaxy print (I even dressed up as the galaxy for Halloween last year) and I just can’t take my eyes of this constellation plate. It’s almost too pretty to cover with food.

Pay homage to the sun with this Tarot-themed tapestry.

Celebrate each phase of the moon with this ceramic wall hanging.

These cute hooks may be made for kids, but I could see adults using them in an entryway or bathroom as a cheeky nod to the sky.

If you want to get even more literal with your love of the sky, these eerily realistic moon lamps may be for you.

The Moon Deck is a set of oracle cards that helps you harness powerful mantras and rituals in your daily life. You can purchase the cards as a set with a beautiful handcrafted wood box outfitted with lunar imagery (you can also purchase the box on its own). I love displaying mine on my bedroom bookshelf.
