10 Scandinavian Instagram Accounts You Should Be Following If You Love Design — SCANDI WEEK

Welcome to Scandi Week—Apartment Therapy’s seven-day focus on all-things Scandinavia (often defined as the countries of Sweden, Denmark, and Norway). Sometimes it seems like the whole world is obsessed with trying to copy this corner of the globe, from its timeless style aesthetic to its now-famous coziness rituals. For the next week, we’ll take a look at all of it—cleaning, pop culture, and of course tons of eye-popping design inspiration. Pull up a blanket and get hygge with us.

Scrolling Instagram is one of our favorite ways to get inspiration—and we’re always looking for more. If Scandinavian design is your (lingonberry) jam, here are some amazing accounts to follow for eye candy and ideas.

Let’s start with the obvious: What’s a list about Scandinavian design without @scandinavianhomes? The interior stylists have a huge following for a reason: their designs are stunning. They go beyond the typical whitewashed everything look, with some moody hues and touches of velvet for interest.

As the content director for Elle Sweden, it’s no surprise that Katarina Matsson has a gorgeous home. She shares snippets of her space and life on her account, @ettrumtill.

If what you crave are minimalist vignettes and spaces that give your eyes a moment of respite, Oslo-based interior designer Elisabeth Heier is worth a follow.

Blogger and shop owner Kristin Lagerqvist shares textured photos of her home, life, and fashion in Varberg, Sweden.

With a feed that’s a mix of modern minimal with touches of crumbly European chic, Swedish/Finnish stylist Annaleena Leino is worth a follow.

Gothenburg-based photographer Anders Bergstedt‘s mastery of light creates dreamy photos we can’t get enough of.

For those with the real estate itch, look no further than Alvhem, a hybrid design and brokerage firm that posts dreamy pics of Swedish homes for sale.

Caroline Birk Bahrenscheer started in fashion and then moved to interiors and design. Her blog and Instagram, September Edit, showcase her life in Copenhagen and travels around Scandinavia and the world.

Named Elle Decoration‘s 2018 interior blogger of the year, Johanna Bradford posts gorgeous peeks into her home, family, and travels.

With cozy photos we want to crawl right into, Gothenburg-based stylist Emma Fischer is a must-follow.
