Inside Tyra Banks’ Pacific Palisades Mansion, Just Sold For $4 Million

Talk about the ultimate fall cleaning. Former fashion model and entrepreneur Tyra Banks recently offloaded another one of her Pacific Palisades homes that she bought four years earlier. The America’s Next Top Model host sold the four-bedroom, five-bathroom for $4 million, which is only slightly less than the $4.25 million she asked for when listing the posh pad back in May.

At 3,700 square feet, the contemporary home features an open floor plan with a floating glass and wood staircase, a chef’s kitchen, glass walls that give way to a covered patio, and living and dining areas that share a two-way fireplace. The home’s spacious master suite features several top-tier amenities including a fireplace, a balcony for taking in surrounding views, his and her bathrooms, a soaking tub, a walk-in closet (fab and functional enough to suit a supermodel), and a steam shower.

And the outdoors area is no less impressive. There’s a separate tiny home with floor-to-ceiling windows that serves as a gym, spa, and office, all in one. Additionally, the turf lawn and bamboo hedges accentuate the property.

This is the third Los Angeles property that Banks has sold this year alone. Earlier this summer, the model-turned-beauty mogul sold a different Pacific Palisades ocean-view property for $8.9 million. In addition to that, Banks completed a $1.5 million transaction in May after finding a buyer for her two-bedroom Palisades townhouse.

Despite the busy year of real estate activity, Banks still has multiple places to call home, including a 7,000 square-foot, five-bedroom penthouse in Manhattan’s Battery Park City that she’s owned since 2009. Currently unlisted, the NYC property had an asking price of $17.5 million as of last October. But given Banks’ success with securing buyers for multiple homes, it shouldn’t come as a surprise if the upscale city digs is off the market soon.
