This New L.A. Super-Brand Collab Is Thanksgiving Table Goals

Los Angeles-based brands Parachute Home and Hedley & Bennett have teamed up for a artisanal-loving locavore’s seasonal dream come true. The collaboration consists of French linen and Turkish cotton dyed in organic, autumnal hues of butternut squash and beets.

The limited-edition “Kitchen Essentials” collection launched on November 1, and includes two aprons, linen napkins, table runners, kitchen towels, and potholders. Items will be available online at Parachute.com and HedleyAndBennett.com and will also be stocked at Parachute’s retail locations in Los Angeles, New York City, and Portland.

Both of these beloved L.A. companies are known for their quality craftsmanship—Parachute, as a bedding and bath brand beloved by hoteliers, Airbnb hosts, and interior designers; and Hedley & Bennett, as experts in the kitchen and regularly worn by chefs and cookbook authors—so this new collaboration is the everyday textile design mashup we didn’t know we craved.

The contrast-edged linen table runners and napkins and the Turkish cotton kitchen towels are inspired by Parachute bedding, and the collection also includes a brand-new “smock” apron from Hedley & Bennett that’s a more stripped-down and casual design for the home cook. And the natural hues are so on-trend; as the ’70s continue their design resurgence, warm palettes are back, which you can see in the mustard and terra cotta (which is even a 2019 color of the year).

Sold separately, the collection’s home essentials run from $19 to $49, with the aprons at $89 (for the new smock design) and $95 (for the classic chefwear design). For easy gift-giving, the brands put together two sets: a Dinner Party Bundle ($229), including one table runner, eight dinner napkins, and eight leather napkin rings; and a Home Chef Bundle ($129), including one classic apron, two kitchen towels, and one potholder.
