Things we love about this property crush:
The first thing you’ll notice about the exterior of this traditional home is the pretty blue detailing—the trim, shutters, and front door all sport a deep shade of teal—a fun pop against the bright white siding. Then there’s the major curb appeal: Located on more than two acres of land in West Linn, Oregon, the lush landscaping looks like something out of a storybook.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a dramatic staircase (think how pretty it will be during the holiday season!), set in a double-height foyer. This leads into a living room with beautiful hardwood flooring, a bay window, and one of two fireplaces in the home. The separate dining area has the most stunning built-in hutch and would be lovely for a large family dinner.
Walk under a curved archway to the kitchen; it’s bright white with marble counters, modern appliances, a dining nook, and spacious enough to fit a crowd. This room leads to another living space, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails, as it has the second fireplace—this one a traditional brick.
Spacious is the best way to describe this space. At 4,653 square feet, it has five bedrooms, one of which would be ideal for a home office with beautiful built-in wooden bookshelves. Every room has tons of natural light thanks to huge windows. The master bedroom is big enough to fit an entire sitting area, and the master bath has a large vanity area. Naturally, the closet is massive, too. Our favorite: The third-floor bonus suite has its own bathroom—ideal for guests and in-laws.
The home is in Ashdown Woods, a private neighborhood with just 32 homes, and an HOA-owned 180 acres of forest and hiking trails.
